Yoderboi is a highly talented DJ and producer from Hungary. He mixes hiphop, house, lounge together with Eastern European ethnic music. His girlfriend sings on some tracks and virtually everything he has done is surprising and original.
Yonderboi puts melodies and instruments that are usually used by Balkan orchestras into groovy tracks. His first album Shallow and Profound became a critical success in France and UK, especially with those who are tired of the predictability of mainstream house labels.
My favourite tracks are Ohne Chanteuse and his cover of the Doors' Riders on the storm. He's certainly an artist to look out for in 2005.
